Interior of First Great Western Mark 3 Standard Class Carriage
This is the interior of a normal standard class Mark 3 (HST) carriage.
The white antimaccasars have the words "Standard Class" written on them because people were assuming the entire train was first class after Firstgroup's "First (f)" branding started to appear.
The light-grey box affixed to the central partition contains chemical light-sticks which can be activated if the lighting fails, or in the event of an accident.
