Here is view of one of the driver cabs of 222019 - one of a fleet of 16 4-car Meridians being delivered to
Midland Mainline over the coming months. Class 222 is a 'refinement' of Classes 220/221 (all by
Bombardier), and has received generally encouraging reviews from the public. I actually got off this
particular train when I arrived at St. Pancras - plenty of legroom and comfort! (Which is more than can be
said for the Turbostars in my opinion). <P>

Meridians could be the newest passenger trains in Britain today. It was such a shame that I didn't take
pics inside the train, although at the time I didn't care that much. <P>
