Northern Rail operated railbuses at Leeds station. Standing at platform 5 in the foreground at platform 5 is Class 144 unit 144023 in the red and grey West Yorkshire PTE Metro livery. Behind it on platform 6 is former First North Western Class 142 unit 142043 in still in the livery of Merseyrail - its first post-privatisation operator.
