Northern rail Class 156 DMU 156463 stands at Platform 1 of Sunderland station. Although the destination blind says Pontefract, this is misleading as the train terminated here. I presume that the driver was cycling through the destinations to switch it to "Carlisle" (the destination of the next service) when I took the photo.
