Interesting taken at Bulwell on the newly opened Nottingham Worksop line. All day on
10 September 1999 the units were a mismatch of types ranging from Class 158 units,
Class 150 and this peculiar hybrid. The rear portion is a Class 153 unit and allegedly so is
this unit though despite its classicisation as 153 333 it is a car from the Class 158.

Although this Class 158 DMU 158858 is in Central Trains livery, complete with Central Trains branding, it is most likely operated by Arriva Trains Wales as I am not aware of Central Trains ever having served Bristol Temple Meads. Whoever it is operated by the destination indicator shows it is heading for Caerdydd Canolog - the Welsh name for Cardiff Central.
