Class 170 (3-car) Turbostar (170 202) of Anglia, seen upon turnaround at London King's Cross.
These units run for Hull Trains, on through services between London and Hull. Hull Trains is the only Open Access passenger operator in Britain. It is owned by GB Railways, which also operates the Anglia Franchise.
This sight will soon be history. In 2004, Hull Trains will operate (newly-built) 170s of its own, and those will be replaced in 2005 with 223s of Bombardier, very similar to the Meridians 222s to be delivered to Midland Mainline in 2004.
