170429 at North Berwick station, having just operated 2Y28 1841½ Haymarket to North Berwick on Thursday, 20th June, 2013.

When this photograph was taken I was very surprised to see a Class 170 unit on this route. Normally services between Haymarket/Edinburgh and North Berwick were operated by a 4-car Class 380 unit, but this run (18:41 from Haymarket / 19:26 from North Berwick) was indeed booked for a 170.
