The new First North Western's DMUs are in my opinion one of the best in the UK: they are very comfortable. Only the automatic announcements get annoying after a while. FNW 174 004 in Lancaster, 30 July 2001.

The extra patronage on the train was because of Rugby Union's Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

In this photograph of the two units coupled together 175107 is on the left and 175115 on the right. This is a good example of how two connected Dellner couplers look.
