Having arrived at Birkhill, on the Bo'Ness & Kinneil Railway with the 12:20 Bo'Ness - Birkhill service during the diesel gala weekend on Sun 6th Sept 1998, 08443 runs round it's train in order to work it back as the 12:43 Birkhill - Bo'Ness service. This particular train was to bo 'Top-n-Tailed' with 08443 & D8020, but due to the unavailablity of D8020, 08443 worked the train both ways on it's own.
