BT 803/1978, a Brush Electrical Machines Ltd 0-6-0DE which was built new for Tyne & Wear Metro in 1978 but now preserved at Peak Rail, stands in the yard at Rowsley on a wet & miserable Sun 4th Mar 2007 at 13:31. After use with Tyne & Wear Metro, this locomotive passed to TML in the late 1980's for use on the Channel Tunnel construction. In 1996 it then passed onto Round Oak Rail, Dudley, where it remained in service until an electrical fire broke out on the locomotive in 2005, after which it passed to Peak Rail.
