Yorkshire Engine Co 0-4-0DE, No: YE 2480 of 1950, which the first shunter to be built by the Yorkshire Engine Co and now preserved at Peak Rail, stands in the yard at Rowsley on a wet & miserable Sun 4th Mar 2007 at 13:37. This locomotive was originally used as a demonstrator before passing to Steel Peech & Tozer at Rotherham, from where it was withdrawn from use in 1981. This loco is/was numbered B.S.C. 2 'Rotherham'.
