73136-tpo-b-jp.jpg (104680 bytes)

73136 is on the back of the Dover TPO on Friday 4th July 2003. This is the only EWS class 73 booked working and it remains to be seen what future their last three active class 73s have after the TPO trains stop at the end of July. The locos are unique on the British scene as they can operate off the third rail DC supply, and also from a relatively small diesel engine. Being Electro Diesels they are refered to as 'E.Ds.'
