BR locomotive Class 87 no. 87004 at Birmingham International with the 18:00 Birmingham New Street - London Euston on 2nd December 2004.
The Class 87 is in its last days as a passenger engine as the current diagrams end on 11th December 2004. Pendelinos take over from this
date and the rumour is that a few 87's and coaches will be on standby until spring 2005 (maybe).
