The lonely 90 023 in RfD livery awaiting its next turn of duty at signal E465 at the end of platform 21 in Edinburgh Waverley. The locomotives are not often stabled here, the usual location for the loco to be parked is either at the Motorail Terminal or actually adjacent to either platform 20 or 21. On this occasion platform 20 was being used for a late-running North Berwick EMU and an GNER class 91 trainset had just arrived into platform 21, as a result the 90 had to be worked permissively into the platform and makes a nice picture in that location.
