Ready, Set, Go! Two Railfreight Distribution class 90/0s lined up ready for action against a background of Scotrail class 305/2s. One wonders why there is no ‘Eric the electric’ or something similar in those Thomas the Tank Engine books, surely this shot would be perfect for an illustration? Stabling the locomotives with such accuracy requires great skill on the part of the engineman. Oh, and has anyone noticed, Crewe Electric Depot can’t really decide whether class 90 cab window surrounds should be grey or yellow... (or is someone pedantic going to mail me and tell me 90 026 is actually maintained at Inverness(!)?)
