90024 is an interesting and unique loco to find parked-up at London's Euston station. It is the only class 90 painted into GNER colours but without GNER branding as such. It was done so that the loco would match the GNER coaching stock when hired in to replace an unavailable class 91. In reality, it dose not seem to have performed this task any more than any other suitable class 90. Date 28th June 2003.

GNER's Class 90 at Liverpool Street on an Anglia (now ONE) service on 13 April 2004. This locomotive seems to be anywhere but actually working for GNER. On the left you can just glimpse a new 25Kv AC Desiro for the franchise.

This is an interesting loco being the only EWS class 90 to be put into GNER livery. GNER were hiring class 90s and the idea was that this would be the loco provided. In reality this seldom seemed to be the case. It is seen here operating a 'ONE' Anglia service from Norwich at Stratford on the 24th April 2004.
