Interiors are about the same as on Cross-chunnel services, but anti-macassars are white, as on the remainder of the GNER fleet.

These units were originally to run on still-born services between Paris and the West Midlands, Northeast England and Scotland. Since 2000, part of them (4 out of 7) have been leased to GNER. They are diagrammed on the "White Rose" services London-Leeds.
