Regional Eurostar set (14 cars) of GNER, seen at London-King's Cross, awaiting departure to Leeds.

These units were originally to run on still-born services between Paris and the West Midlands, Northeast England and Scotland. Since 2000, part of them (4 out of 7) have been leased to GNER. They are diagrammed on the "White Rose" services London-Leeds.

This unit is one of the two reliveried to GNER standards. Originally, doors were blue with the red stripe, as the rest of the set. They have recently been painted all in red, so as to meet the expectations of the Health & Safety Executive, which is keen on having visible doors...

Standard-class intermediate trailer. One can notice that part of the destination display has been painted in blue, so as to hide the electronic car-numbering. GNER has indeed applied its own car-numbering scheme, which one can see close to the door. One can also notice the "White Rose" logo and branding.
