Mode for platforms built to continental standards, meaning that the 3 steps are in use, unlike in the days of Waterloo International.

The gap between the lower step and the platform is about the same as in Brussels, and thence narrower than in Paris-Nord, Lille-Europe, Calais-Fréthun TGV and any other French mainline station.
