DMSO No: 64588 from Scotrail unit 314203, is seen forming part of this unit as it stands at Motherwell with a service to Dalmuir via Blantyre on Wed 14th October 1998.
This vehicle was originally a Class 507, 750V D/C 3rd-rail DMSO, No: 64426, which was converted & rebuilt to replace the original Class 314 DMSO, No: 64588, which was destroyed in the Newton derailment several years ago.
