Interiors of a "Metro" Class 376 (376 002) Electrostar of South Eastern Trains.

These units do not feature a single toilet, in view of their strictly inner-urban duties. This has contained the loss of seats arising out of 2+2 seating and enlarged vestibules.

Car gangways are very common. Originally, specs for 376s would contemplate full-gauge, articulated gangways, as on most Tram fleets or on some recent Metro rolling-stock.

Crashworthiness issues and time constraints have eventually led to a more straightforward design. Yet, gangways look somehow larger than those of Networkers (465s and 466s).
