Farewell to slam-door stock...

Standard-class Interiors of Class 411 of (ex-Connex) South Eastern Trains, seen at London-Charing Cross, awaiting departure to Hastings.

These units were refurbished in the early-80s, with seats very close to the IC70 type which you have on HSTs, Mk3s and most Mk2s.

These used to run on Boat Trains between London-Victoria and Folkestone-Harbour/Dover Western Docks until 1994-95. They were then diagrammed on Kent Coast services, and are now under withdrawal.

They have also been running on the "1066 Electrics" London-Hastings since the electrification of Tonbridge-Hastings in 1986.
