Class 455 (455 825) of South Central Trains, seen at London-Charing Cross, upon turnaround.

These units run on inner-urban services in South London. This unit has already been re-liveried to South Central standards, following the transfer of the South Central Trains franchise from Connex to Kéolis.

It is soon due for refurbishment.

Looking south from the northern end of platform 2 at New Cross Gate station in South London. At platform 1 is a London Underground A stock train (with unit 5056 at the northern end) between East London Line services to and from Shoreditch. At platfrom 2 is Class 455 EMU 455841 and Class 456 EMU 456007 at the far (leading) end on a Southern service from London Bridge to Victoria via Crystal Palace.

Driving trailer of a Refurbished Class 455 (455 816) of Southern (ex-South Central Trains).

Upon refurbishment, end gangways have been sealed so as to enlarge cabs.

One of the main stays of the inner surban services of both South Central and South West Trains, these units carry thousands to work on London everyday, a kinda of workhorse of the eighties. Seen approaching the South Central side of Clapham Junction.

Entering Clapham on an inner suburban service, love the livery that salutes the old Southern Railway, clever application also ensure continuity of design when working in multiple and also compliance with Health & Safety legislation about hi-vis entrances.
