465174 at London Bridge on 18 August 2004. The picture clearly shows the new buffer covers fitted recently to deter surfers. Some delinquent youths have been riding on the rear of these trains and been injured or even killed doing so. So the TOC took action to prevent this by fitting the buffer covers illustrated in the picture and they also removed the hand rails below the windscreens.
