These units have been running on SE Metro services since the early-90s.
<p>
As on all suburban stock of South Eastern Trains (viz. 423s), 3+2 seating prevails. Small vestibules and the narrow aisle turn out to be very problematic at peaks. These units will be displaced to Kent Link services from Summer 2004 by Electrostars 376 Metro units.
