Now how does a Crossair plane...an HS 146 I think...find its way onto Railfaneurope's Picture Gallery? The picture was taken at London's City Airport in April 2002 and if you look carefully in the background you can see not only the Docklands Light Railway but also a train on it...right above the plane. Now what is surprising is that despite being 'that close' there is no direct connection between the DLR and the Airport...and there still isn't although this will be changing. With no Underground or BR station serving the airport either the only way you can arrive is by road...or on foot!
