Looking west from the western end of platform 1 at King George V DLR station in East London. Until the second phase of the extension to Woolwich Arsenal is completed, this station is the temporary terminus of the London City Airport branch and both tracks are bidrectional. When the extension opens the lefthand track will be for London-bound services with the right being used by Woolwich-bound trains. Crossovers at both ends of the station will though allow for other service patterns in times of disruption or engineering work.
