London Underground Metropolitan Line 'A'-stock sub-surface EMU 5128 passes a Picallilly Line 1973 tube-stock EMU immediately west of Rayner's Lane station. The larger Metropolitan line train is en-route to Uxbridge (despite the Aldgate blind), while the Piccadilly line train (with the bored-looking driver) is waiting in the reversing siding prior to commencing a service to (most likely) Cockfosters. This photograph clearly shows the difference in loading gauge bewteen the two types of train used on London Underground.
