The mockup of the London Underground 2009 stock, which will replace the existing 1967 stock on the Victoria Line, was open to public viewing in a marquee in Euston Square Gardens for a couple of weeks in early August.
A view loowing along the length of the carriage looking through the end window. The mockup is only ¾ length, so the far end is actually just an illustration. The pannel on the right is a backboard against which a wheelchair can be parked, hence the tip-up seats each side and the low-level passenger alarm.
The train carriage is wider than other tube stock to take advantage of the slightly more generous loading guage of the Victoria Line.
