The mockup of the London Underground 2009 stock, which will replace the existing 1967 stock on the Victoria Line, was open to public viewing in a marquee in Euston Square Gardens for a couple of weeks in early August.<br>
The tip-up seats along one wall in the centre of the carraige allow extra room for standing passengers, or space for a wheelchair, for which reason the passenger alarm is located at a lower level here. The backrests of the tip-up seats make them possibly the least comfortable seats of any British rolling stock!
