London Underground sleet locomotive number ESL107, dating from 1940 is preserved at London's Transport Museum Depot. Sleet locomotives are used to de-ice the conductor rails in cold weather. This unit was built at Acton works by joining together ends of two withdrawn Central London Railway passenger motor cars dating from 1904.
