A London Underground Circle Line 'C' stock EMU (right) and a Metropolitan Line 'A' stock EMU (left) at the northern end of platforms 1 and 2 of Aldgate station. The length difference between the 6-car 'C' stock and 8-car 'A' stock trains here is duplicated at the southern end as well.<br>
The Metropolitan Line terminates here, while the Circle Line obviously doesn't - it next meets the District Line at Minories junction before they both head west to Tower Hill station.
