Looking south from the footbridge at Finchley Central station on London Underground's Northern Line. There are two northbound platforms, the one the train is approaching for services to High Barne and one to the right for trains to Mill Hill East trains. All southbound trains call at the platform on the left, although it looks like there was formerly another platform behind the current one.

Looking north from the footbridge at Finchley Central station on London Underground's Northern Line. Just beyond the bridge it can be seen that the lines to High Barnet and Mill Hill East diverge. Contrary to what you would expect looking at a tube map, the straight-ahead route is the branch to Mill Hill East, while the main route to High Barnet diverges to the right.
