The view through the rather grubby front window of Tyne and Wear Metro train 4089 as it approaches the terminal station South Hylton with a Yellow line service from St James via the North Tyneside Coast and Newcastle and Sunderland city centres.<br>
There is considerable fore-shortening in this image - far from being shorter than normal the platform is actually one of the longest on the network.
