The level crossing over Poole's pedestrianised High Street, seen here with the barriers down well in advance of a train. This picutre was taken at 5:45pm on a saturday evening, during the day it is typically much busier than this! The level crossing over Poole's pedestrianised High Street, seen here with the barriers down well in advance of a train. The level crossing over the high street, and the adjacent pedestrian footbridge, viewed from the extreme eastern end of Poole station. Don't be fooled by the apparent lack of activity, this photogaph was taken shortly after 7pm on a Saturday evening, during the day this street is busling with activity.
