BR Standard Class 4 2-6-0 No. 76009 (really 76079) and SR Bulleid ‘Battle of Britain’ 4-6-2 No 34067 <i>Tangmere</i> (only just visible in this photograph) at platform 1 of Bishops Lydeard station on the West Somerset Railway during the Spring Steam Gala. The locos will shortly double-head the last leg of the charter service from London Paddington to Minehead that was conveyed by 34067 alone as far as the WSR.

This photograph was taken from the pedestrian level crossing, offering a track-level view not often available in stations.
