Class 35 'Hymek'. D7076, which is currently based on the East Lancs Railway, was loaned to the Bo'Ness & Kinneil Railway as the visiting loco for their diesel gala weekend over the 4th, 5th & 6th September 1998 and was the first time a Class 35 diesel-hydraulic has been in Scotland. Pictured on the back of a heavy haulage low-loader at Harthill Services, on the outskirts of Glasgow on a dull & misty early evening of Thursday 3rd Sept 98, D7076 waits for a police escort changeover for the journey to Bo'Ness.

Class 35 'Hymek'. Which way Now!. D7076 finally arrives from the East Lancs Railway to it temorary home for the weekend at Bo'ness on Thursday 3rd Sept 1998 only to find out that the driver of the truck has been brought down to the wrong entrance by the police escort guiding him.

Class 35 'Hymek'. Just before i retired for the night to my makeshift bed on the floor of the Swindon Class 126 unit using seat cushions & a sleeping bag, i nipped out to get night shot of D7076. Taken on a 30sec timer at F5.6 using a flash, D7076 is captured standing with 25235 at Bo'Ness on Thursday 3rd Sept 1998 at 23:00. The orange effext comes from the strong yard lights.

As with the above shot, this shot was taken using the same settings but from the other side into the glow of the yard light. With the yard light bouncing off both loco's, D7076 is captured standing with 25235 at Bo'Ness on Thursday 3rd Sept 1998 at 23:00.
