Only the earlier 'Choppers' had the circular headcode discs unlike later class 20's which were fitted with panels. 20001 and 20227 are working in multiple providing us with plenty of that 'class 20 sound'. 20227 has been used by London Underground which is why its in Metropolitan Red livery. Named after the poet Sir John Betjeman the loco has just arrived at Ropley.
