North Tyneside Steam Railway&Stephenson Railway Museum - UK
The NTSR operates museum trains on the short Percy Main-North Shields line. The Stephenson Railway Museum is located at the end of the line in North Shields.
Steam locomotive 401 "Thomas Burt" was built in 1950 for the Steel Company of Wales. Since 1986 it is preserved by Tyne&Wear Museums. It is currently under overhaul and only the frame is seen in the museum.
