No.1748 'Woolwich' constructed in 1916 was one of 16 'Charlton' Class 18 inch gauge locos and
worked at the Royal Arsenal Railway Woolwich in S.E. London until 1956. Acquired by the
Bicton Woodlands Railway in Devon in 1962 she then operated for a further 38 years before moving to
her current location in the year 2000 where plans are to return the loco to traffic.
