SVR. Great Western Railway breakdown train at Bridgenorth in June 1971. Formed with tool vans 112 & 118 from the turn of the previous century, steam crane 38 (the last steam crane built for the GWR) from 1947 and two match trucks.

SVR. ex-GWR Super Saloom 9113 "Prince of Wales" at Bridgenorth in June 1971. It was built for the Paddington-Plymouth Ocean Liner Specials in 1932 and was similar to the 2 photographed on the South Devon Railway in that same month. http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/pix/gb/museum/SDR/9111_mt.jpg

Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster Town station. This terminal was built nearby the mainline station of Kidderminster in the style of an old GWR station. The train on the left with wooden LNER coaches has just entered the station, "The Red Rose" on the right with LMS steel cars is standing there out of service. 11th September 1998.

LNER corridor brake composite No 24068, at Highley, Severn Valley Railway on 23 April 2000.
Built in 1937, it was in service until 1964, it was purchased in 1972 for use on the Severn Valley Railway where it was restored to its original varnished teak wood finish.
