SR 12 ton Ventilated Van number WD 47983, Built by the Southern Railway in 1940 to standard planked design for MOD. Painted in MOD dark olive green livery. with black steelwork. This photograph was taken when the van was stabled on sidings at the eastern end of Minehead station on the West Somerset Railway.
