Several vans in the yard at Washford station on the West Somerset Railway; altough as the station is rented by the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway Trust the wagons are principally those of the Southern Railway and London, Midland and Scottish Railway rather than the Great Western Railway, who built the line that became the WSR. Among the vehicles visible in the picture are:

<li>424023 - A 4-plank timber framed open wagon believed to be of LNER origin.
<li>S 48949 - A 12 ton Ventilated Van Built by the Southern Railway to standard planked design at unknown date between 1935 and 1949.
<li>SR 54885 - A 10 ton Brake Van, built as 12424 by the LSWR at Eastleigh in 1900. Renumbered by SR as 54885. Sold to War Office. Used on Longmoor Military Railway as no AD82020. Moved to Liss in 1970 and subsequently to Eastleigh and East Somerset Railway in 1973. Acquired for display at the S&DRT at Washford in 1988.
<li>SR 24291 - 10 ton 4pl Open Wagon built by LB&SCR with timber underframe.
