A merged view of a model of Highbridge station. The platforms on the right are the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway station, the ones on the left are for the Great Western Railway. The SDJR ran to Burnham on Sea, of the left of the junction in the top left, and from the right off through central Somerset and Dorset to Bournemouth West station, but non of this now survives. Today the GWR platforms survive at Highbridge, which is a small station, without a junction, served by stopping services between Bristol and Taunton. Photographed at the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway Trust museum at Washford station on the West Somerset Railway.
