An unusual site these days - signal E120 at the western end of platform 2 at Taunton station displays the lefthand route indicator - showing a route is set for a train to leave Network Rail metals and head onto the West Somerset Railway. In this case the train is a charted from London Paddington to Minehead for the West Somerset Railway Spring Steam Gala, headed by SR Bulleid ‘Battle of Britain’ 4-6-2 No 34067 <i>Tangmere</i>.
