Par_(1)_Signal_Box_30.7.2017: The railways around Par and nearby St.Blazey are still controlled by semaphore signals, of the former Great Western Railway’s lower-quadrant pattern (i.e. the signal arms are lowered to indicate clear), but they are soon to be replaced by colour lights. The signal box on Par station is seen together with a double starter signal and shunt disc signal, controlling access to the branch line to Newquay.	roger.griffiths@hotmail.com
