Looking east from the western end of platform 2 of Amersham station in Buckinghamshire. The station is served by Chiltern Railways services between London Marylebone and Aylesbury, and it is also the terminus of the mainline of London Underground's Metropolitan Line, with trains running from here to Baker Street with some continuing to Aldgate. <br>
The train on the left is London Underground A-stock fourth-rail EMU 5046, aproaching platform 3 from the reversing siding to commence a southbound service to central London.
