Platform 2 and the adjacent, un-numbered, former parcels platform at Bristol Temple Meads station can be seen in the distance on the right of this photo. Platform 4 is on the extreme right of shot, while on the left it appears that new sidings are being built.<br>
Becuase of the curve that Bristol Temple Meads station is built on, these platforms are almost at right angles to platform 1.
