A merged view Looking north from the southern end of Cardiff Queen Street railway station. On the extreme left are disused through and bay platforms; left of centre is the present platform 1 where northbound services on the Valley Lines call. Platform 2, right of centre, is for southbound services to Cardiff Central and on to Penarth and Barry. Platform 3 on the extreme right is used almost exclusively for services to and from Cardiff Bay station
