The northern end of platforms 1 (left) and 2 at Castle Cary railway staiton in Somerset. The station has a third platform, but this is significantly shorter than the other two, as it only needs to accomodate short Bristol Temple Meads-Weymouth trains. Platforms 1 and 2 play host to express services to and from London Paddington often operated by HSTs.
